Ongoing OT Support Initiated
Arise Therapy Group schedules a 1-2 week window with an ECE center, completing multiple screenings per day, typically classroom by classroom.
Screenings are 20 minutes per child and include an assessment of the domains listed below as well as a brief in class observation and teacher interview.
The results of the screening are documented, then sent electronically to each child's parent and shared with the school administration if the family consents. If ongoing OT support is recommended, the therapist will review the results in detail and discuss continued treatment details.
The therapist will then collaborate with the parents and ECE staff to establish goals and initiate regular sessions within the preschool environment.
